Totally had fun even though we kinda flailed. Lots of distractions last night. Including something about an actor/director and a chair. I really didn't believe that last one though, I think I was drunk.
Tuesday is an all Harry Potter themed quiz for those interested.
In more confirmation that Houston Mefites are more awesome than anyone could possibly imagine, twist my arm is more awesome than anyone could possibly imagine.

The Harry Potter quiz is Tuesday the 11th at Little Woodrow's EaDo. The themed quizzes have a cash prize but do charge $5 a head.

Boo urns! I didn't realize Harry Potter trivia was TUESDAY! I shall be screaming in German with 200 other people that evening, but you all go grab that golden snitch!

piggyback recap for harry potter at little woodrow's eado on sept 11

it was kind of a bloodbath and not in our favor. Mind if I Slyther-in came in 23rd (out of 45). they make it really hard. the space is gigantic, hence the 45 teams (plus i think 4 who dropped out before the end).
also, for future reference, parking is atrocious, there's a $5 lot and a $10 lot nearby (which i did not know), plus the $5/head (which of course was mentioned several times). and no steak! which makes this spot a little hard to recommend, parking plus game is the equivalent of a $10 cover and i am too old for clubbin'. maple leaf is pretty terrific in comparison.
great team names tonight. Sirius Black Women made one of our teammates giggle every single time.
still i had fun, i left the table many times since i didn't even know regular harry potter trivia, much less trivia on steroids. did a food run, smoked a smoke, pet a big friendly black dog, camped out at the food truck for team members so they could stay at the table and not know things.
