We haven't had a proper KC MeFi meetup in over 2 years! Dust off your fancy pants and let's hang out!
Grinders, 7pm. Wootwoot. Does anyone have a preference for Grinder's Pizza v. Grinder's West?

I've been by Grinders on First Friday. Saturday might be a better day, because we might actually be able to get a table.

Jealous. I had a cheesesteak in Philly yesterday, and I know it's blasphemy but it made me miss Grinders. Have fun guys!

I would assume Grinders East. Will it be too hot to meet outside in the back? There's not a lot of group seating in Grinders.

Don't ask me. I have no clue about the place. What do I need to know about getting there? And parking? I have a disability, but let my handicapped parking placard expire, and so walking very far from a parking spot is a concern.

Here's a couple of photos of what I look like, so folk will hopefully be able to recognize me, anyway. They're four or five years out of date, but I haven't changed much. I also sort of limp and possibly will be using a cane, so it should be pretty easy to figure out who I am. I'm about 5'6".

Let's just meet in front of Grinders (original, not West). There are a few seats out in front where you can sit and wait, but we can move inside after everyone shows up or to the back if we feel like the heat is not too oppressive. It looks like there will only be three or four of us, so seating shouldn't be a huge issue. I am a tiny black chick with poofy hair. Unless there's a convention of other tiny poofy-haired black chicks bouncing around the Crossroads that day, I should be pretty easy to spot.

One of my friends is moving out of town and of course he scheduled his freaking goodbye party tomorrow night. Have fun at Grinders.

I'm up north and I'm not sure how early I should leave. I want to have plenty of time to be leisurely about parking and such, so I may end up getting there quite early. I plan to leave about ten after six. I'm in black pants and yellow shirt.
