Fri March 9 at 7:00 PM, County Cork Public House
1329 NE Fremont St, Portland, OR, USA (Map & Directions)
Going to be headed over to County Cork tomorrow night for ye olde Irish music around 7 (music is supposed to start ~7:30). Haven't been there for music before, but the food's pretty good and the beer list is alright. Parking might be a bit iffy, though.

the beer list is alright

I fully approve of said beer list based on its low percentage of IPA. Also, there are some damn good beers listed.

Doubt I'll be able to make it over, however.

Not sure whether I'm free tonight, but if I am I'll be there!

Too short notice, sorry. Next time!

Unfortunately my possible freedom didn't pan out. "Next time" for me as well.

This sounds like a good idea for a future thing.

Yeah, it's one of those things I didn't think many/any would be going to, due to short notice if nothing else, but decided to post it anyway; it'll happen or et cetera.

ADVENTURE SUMMARY: Place was PACKED and pretty loud, so probably not the best choice for future music nights.

Depends on how good the music (and the beer) was....

NEW QUEST: find acceptable location for partaking of ye olde Irish music.

A non-intensive perusal of the web points to 3 main possibilities:

The above-mentioned County Cork Pub ("live music most Tuesdays and Fridays", no mention of what type),
Biddy McGraw's (spotty Celtic-themed music events),
and of course Kell's.

Surely there must be more?
