We're visiting Brussels and are planning to get our gluhwein on at the Winter Wonders fair. We like meeting up with MeFites wherever we go. Want to join us? We are open to being flexible with the time but can't start much earlier than noon.

Any of y'all headed to the Free and Open Source Developers' European Meeting 30-31 January in Brussels, Belgium? I'm going there (and giving a couple of talks), and would enjoy getting to meet other MeFites. The evening of the 29th or sometime on Feb. 1 would also work for me.

The March Long Now Brussels meetup will take place Wednesday 23 March 02011 at 19:00 at FoAM Belgium. We'll be checking out Rachel Sussman's Long Now talk entitled “The World's Oldest Living Organisms”. Rachel Sussman is a photographer whose works have been showcased throughout Europe and North America. (Perhaps you've seen some of her work already.) Her project has carried her around the world to document ancient lifeforms. [more inside]
