MeFi IRL

I expect to be in Lawrence, KS, Friday evening/Saturday a.m. Would enjoy meeting MeFites for Saturday brunch. I have a commitment 7:30 pm Fri.(Int. Folk Dancing, in case there are others out there), but a beer beforehand would work. I'm sort of meeting up and dancing my way home to Maine.

One of the most famous librarians on the planet is coming to Kansas to do librarianly things later in April. Let's make sure she gets some non-work time as well, plus celebrate the rare appearance of a mod in the Midwest. [more inside]

I'll be reading a few letters from my first book, Post-Apocalypse Dead Letter Office (see entries in Projects and MetaTalk), at The Raven bookstore in Lawrence. Free snacks and homebrewed beer for folks who attend.
