Warming up for the Slayer

I'm sure the G&D Trivia night will be less Buffy-centric than the one the next night, but that doesn't mean it's a bad idea. Let's go forth and tilt at the windmill that is our Tuesday tradition.

January NYC Crafting

I dropped to ball on December, but let's get going again in January. Same as usual: Coffeed, Chelsea, all crafts welcome. (To be clear, if you want to come hang out in a coffee shop for ~2 hours while people knit/craft, that is also fine.) [more inside]

Comedy for Carmen (Rubio)

I'm hosting a killer comedy showcase at the very cool Rose City Book Pub on Fremont. Lineup includes Adam Pasi (Portland's Funniest Person winner), Belinda Carroll, Alex Rios, Julia Ramos, Thomas Lundy, Meanroth Ny, and Mefi's own Mark Saltveit (my final Portland gig before moving) We'll pass the hat about a third of the way through the show but no one will be turned away. No politicians, no speeches, just funny.

Overclocked Taters

Our triumph last time just goes to show that there's nothing the Taters can't accomplish if there are more of them than technically allowed. Let's flex our trivia muscles again Wednesday night at Orleans.
