A whopping eight months after setting foot in Toronto to examine people's financial statements and tell them how they're doin' it wrong, I went and landed myself a job in the US doing stuff that's much more up my alley. Pending approval by our friendly neighbourhood border service agents, I will be leaving Toronto for the brighter pastures of North Carolina in about eight weeks. I'd like to see my favourite Toronto-KWC-Buffalo-ans sometime before I leave. March 31st, 8 PM, Local 4. Be there.
So this means that all of you who have been skimping out on meetups the past couple of times - no more excuses.
Oh, this is perfect. I can tutor you on all the best techniques to deal with Homeland Security. Actually, there's not really much to say; just mention my name and you should breeze right on through.

Congratulations on the new opportunity and escape from a situation you didn't sound too pleased with. I'm guilty of skimping out on meetups the last couple of times, so would make an effort to attend this one. Especially since you've been most active in making certain these things happen from time to time in Toronto. They might happen less often here with you in North Carolina. Local 4 is okay, although I found it strange last time that there were zero customers but for us on a warm summer night in a place at that location.

I'm in! Local 4 sounds good, and March 31 sounds better than March 17, because that should officially be second spring. Or a blizzard. But we've had meetups in blizzards before, so all should be well.

I believe the 'put it in my calendar and click the 'remind me 7 days before' button' will suffice. By which I mean will do exactly what you are asking for...

Hell, mine is all work. It's also the best way to let my wife know when I'm working away half the time, because she never listens to me because apparently I "talk rubbish most of the time".
