Longfellow- Dickens day

Sat February 4 at 12:00 PM, longfellow house
105 Brattle St, Longfellow Home, Cambridge, MA, USA (Map & Directions)
Any Boston area mefites interested in going to this? I've also asked some of my fellow Bradford alumni (one of whom is a mefi lurker, another who is a librarian acquaintance of Jessamyn's.)
There will be tours at 12, 2 and 4.

Rats, I would totally go, but I have to work that day.

Same for me, a very cool meetup idea, but we have a festival at work that I've got to run programs for.

Hm, gonna put myself down as a maybe. I have wanted to take a tour of the house (which I totally stumbled across by accident last year) but I'm not sure what my plans are for that day.

I found more info on this here. It says space is limited but I don't see how to RSVP/reserve a spot? I do think this sounds like fun.

The Longfellow house's website says it's first come, first served.

I'll be around for the weekend if those who can't make the tour would rather get together that evening or on Sunday. I'd like to get up early Sun and see the Degas at the MFA before it closes.

I'm out on (Super Bowl) Sunday, but the tour might be doable. Which one were you planning for?

I'll call it for noon and meet in front of the house at 11:30.

I'm wearing a green top and black cords. Two Bradford people will be coming (though not the ones I mentioned).
