Boyfriend and I are a definite maybe for this, depending on how quickly we can escape our earlier engagement that evening. Are late arrivals ok for this, if we slip in quietly? And are tickets available at the door?

Are costumes mandatory?

In my (limited) experience, this has sold out previously (last year, IIRC?). Tickets in advance is probably a good idea if you think you're going to be there.

Am I the only curmudgeon who is disoriented by the presence of a 92nd Street Y in Tribeca?

That was the first thing my boyfriend said when I asked him if he wanted to go to this and pointed at the map. "92nd St? Near the Holland Tunnel? What??"

I just refer to it as the 92Y Tribeca and love the bomb.

Alas, on investigating, I've discovered that my prior engagement is going to run past 10, so I won't be making it. Y'all enjoy some dance magic on my behalf!

I'm in, I'm in! No costume, but hopefully that will just make all the costumed folks look better.
