I have written a show for the Melbourne Fringe Festival for an actor friend of mine, Richard, who is looking to tour it elsewhere next year. Book now and come along! Six shows between Sept 23 and Oct 2.
This is my first show in the Melbourne Fringe Festival, though I've been working around the independent theatre scene for a few years now - and I've been writing for a lot longer. It's a one-man show, which was a challenge for both writer and actor - but I think we've crafted something pretty amusing: Richard reflects on how he (and, by extension, we all) perceive time with stories about time moving too fast, too slow and how to deal with that tricky fourth dimension. Show combines storytelling, stand up, music and a short film - a sitcom about Time & Space. More about myself and my writing at my blog.
