Sun July 3 at 10:30 AM, Trinity Lutheran Church
31-18 37th St, Queens, NY, USA (Map & Directions)
My husband Stynxno just finished his first year of seminary, and is working as a hospital chaplain this summer. He'll be guest preaching at our church, Trinity Lutheran Church (ELCA), on Sunday July 3rd at 10:30 a.m.
The service is about an hour and a half, and there are light refreshments afterwords.

Posted because whimsicalnymph and I were discussing this at yesterday's meetup, and it reminded me that we often forget to tell people when Marc is preaching until it is too late!

Patriotic Hymns are really not to be sung during worship but I'm still trying to work in Battle Hymn of the Republic somehow.

Hospital chaplain!? Damn, nothing like jumping right into the thick of things. Much respect.

Congrats! Sunday is my D&D game, unfortunately, but break a leg!

Alas, I'll be in Boston for the 4th of July, but look forward to attending another time!

Don't sing the song you sang at Eideteker's karaoke ...

That sounds really interesting and it's been years since I've been at an ELCA service, which is too bad. I do worry about my ability to wake up that early and get all the way up to Queens but we're moving to a place on the F train so...in summary, a firm maybe, and thanks so much for posting about it!

That's a Sunday I'm not busy with services at my Church... because I'm out of town!

Animal and house sitting way down in Battery Park, so I can not be there, but would like to know when something like this happens again.

I'm sorry, we won't be able to make it today, but please let me know the next time he is guest preaching!

Thanks for the kind words, all! I taped the sermon (at the request of my father, who told me I have to record all the early sermons, lest there be a hole in the sermon history of stynxno's sermons for future scholars, lol).
