CANCELED - Trivia at the Swedish Club

Wed September 14 at 7:00 PM, Swedish Club
1920 Dexter Ave N, Seattle, WA, USA (Map & Directions)
Canceled due to illness of the trivia caller. Seattle's Swedish Club is restarting its trivia night. Let's give this one a try. One of my favorite places for trivia in the before times. There may be song lyrics spoken in monotone. And there may be pea soup and flatbread.
Wednesday evening trivia starts back up. Led by Jaxon Ravens. Every second Wednesday. 7–9 p.m. Come and try it out!

Trivia is upstairs in the lounge. $5 a person for non-members. There's parking in the lots south of the club, east of the club (off of Newton), and across Dexter. I plan to get there at 6:30pm.

I'm unavailable but it's narrowly possible Helen will come.

Sounds good! I’ll dust off my Norwegian jokes.

I'm still in Canada, alas, but I'll be back in time for the next one.

I want to believe, but the calendar linked to (and the Swedish Club website as a whole) has no mention of trivia today.

I just confirmed with the Swedish Club. It's canceled due to illness of the trivia caller. But it should be back next month.

I'm having trouble editing the event to make it clear it's been canceled. But at least it looks like next month we're likely to have more people able to join.

As for going back to Halcyon, I can't next week, but I can the week after that.

Thanks for checking! Next month then.

I'm game for Halcyon on the 27th, so let's make that the plan.

(edit window abuse ahoy)

Ah crap, not free; there's a Kraken pre-season game that night. And it's against Calgary, so I'm gonna need to go and yell how much Calgary sucks. It's basically a religious event, sorry.

Off-topic, but:

I just had a surprise overnight layover in Calgary. Please yell at Calgary a little extra for me.
