Sat March 26 at 9:00 AM, Clockwork Active Media Systems
1501 E Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN, USA (Map & Directions)
Come and join us on Saturday, 3/26/2011 from 9-4 for the the first Minneapolis PyStar workshop. PyStar is a 'best-practices' Python programming workshop. All women (self-identified, full-spectrum - cis, trans, and otherwise) are invited to join us. Folks who identify as non-female are welcome so long as they are a guest of a female-identified person. Non-programmers (yet!) who are interested are especially welcome to attend! THIS MEANS YOU. cf: http://pystar-mpls-1.eventbrite.com/ cf: http://pystar.org
We are still looking for a proper host (physical space), but we expect to have that resolved by the end of this week!

We need:

* publicity
* attendees: are you interested in learning to program? All skill levels welcome!
* a host location (we have some in the pipeline) that has decent wireless and can host 25 people?
* group guides / teachers. All genders welcome, and we are happy to train!

If your company can help by hosting (on Friday night for setup, and Saturday for the workshop), please contact us!

Technologies: git, bash, python, virtualenv, django, test-driven development.

Thanks!
