My best mefi friend elephantsvanish is in Philly now, and we keep talking about wanting to do more regular meetups, so let’s welcome her to the city with a meetup. LAST MINUTE VENUE CHANGE, WE ARE NOW AT HADRAMOUT, 45TH AND WALNUT.
I know we’re entering a busy time of year with the holidays and all, but maybe December 7th or 14th? Also can we please do somewhere that’s not Fishtown this time? For personal laziness purposes I’d like to propose Gojjo (46th and Baltimore, reasonably priced Ethiopian food+beer, has a quiet upstairs room that would be good for board games if people want that), but I’d also be down for center city or south philly.

Would love to go, haven't made it to any previous meetups. 46th and Baltimore is a great location for me. Used to live a block from there.

FUCK I could have sworn they were open at that time when I scheduled this but maybe I’m wrong. How about we re-locate to Queen of Sheba across the street? Still Ethiopian food, still good, open now per google.

Hey y'all -- place #2 is also closed!? The internet was wrong! To make it easier ActionPopulated and I are hanging out front here and for folks who make it, we can walk over together to an actual open place down the street.

I am going to head out soonish but I probably won’t get over to West Philly until 2-2:30, so I’ll keep an eye on this thread. Sorry to be so late but I’m a slow starter this morning.
