Now that summer is nearly upon us, I wanted to propose another get-together in the spirit of 2018's lovely ice cream and burrito hang. EDIT: Okay, we have a day/time/location! Ithaca's Farmer's Market, 11am, Saturday 6/8!
I wanted to get the ball rolling re: a meetup, although I don't have too many specifics in mind yet.

Questions: Which weekends work best in mid/late May or June? Do you have an idea of an event/tasty treat/etc. we can partake in as we gather?

Would be good to see some of you and enjoy the non-snow together!

Ithaca Festival is May 30 through Jun 2, so that's either an obstacle or an option, depending on what folks are up to that weekend.

Another low key ice cream plus lunch somewhere sounds great, but given that this is MeFi, I will point out that Cornell Cinema is doing another Internet Cat Video Festival on May 10…

Put me down as a definite maybe! Don't plan around me -- it's a bit of a drive and I have a bunch of weekend obligations. But if I can make it, I'll be there.

OOoooh finally an upstate NY meetup! This is a really busy time of year for me, unfortunately, so I can't say for sure I can come... but the first three weekends in June I could probably make it.

I would love to get together again! Lunch + ice cream suits me as well.

Good days for me would be Saturdays: May 18, June 1, 8, 22, 29; Sundays: May 19, June 16 or 30.

May is right out; June would potentially work for me (though as basically everyone else has stated, my June is still pretty up in the air).

A get-together sounds great! I'm down for cat videos, ice cream, burritos, and/or other fun. A Farmer's Market meetup could also be fun, depending on the weather. Weekends in May or June are generally fine, though come June I'll be busy on Saturday mid-afternoons.

Wonderful! It sounds like the first weekend of June is a possibility, along with later weekends in June, although people are still a little unsure of their schedules. Perhaps we can keep thinking and get more concrete over the next week or two as summer schedules fill out?

I'll be in town every weekend in June. My Sundays are wide open; on Saturdays I'm booked from 2:30PM-8PM every weekend. Anything other than that time would be great!

June weekends sound great. Maybe we should shoot for next Saturday (Jun 1), finishing up by 2:30, to accommodate jaruwaan and ourobouros?

Oh no!! I forgot to check in on this, and it’s already that Saturday 6/1, my apologies! Maybe we could shoot for next Saturday 6/8 and to be finished by 2:30? If that’s not too late notice.

Things we’ve mentioned: burritos and ice cream, farmer’s market. If we’re aiming to be done done by 2:30 we could meet at a brunch spot too. Any strong preference between the plans?

In an unusual bit of synchronicity, I dropped in at the meetup without knowing that it was the Official Meetup, thanks to zamboni's MeFi t-shirt. Sorry I couldn't stay and chat - maybe next time? (And zamboni has the Official Meetup Photo that I took...)
