Kansai Golden Week meetup?

Would any Kansai-area MeFites (or others visiting) like to meet up sometime during the monster Golden Week?
Dates: I had in mind maybe early in the vacation, say the 27th or 29th, but could be flexible
Locations: Osaka is kind of the central point but it's not hard to get anywhere else
What do: Lunch somewhere tasty maybe? Or dinner or drinks or tea...
Sorry to be so vague, I have not proposed one of these before. If someone wants to come up with a solid plan, wonderful; I can also provide some concrete "Let's meet at this time and date HERE" if requested. If no interest/availability, maybe another time :)

I'm in Osaka! I've got nothing going on yet for the hoilday, so meeting anytime/anywhere is doable.

Neat! If no one has any immediate time/place constraints, let's wait another day or two to see if anyone else is interested, then figure out when/where by early in the upcoming week. Also do please suggest any places you'd like to go in Kyoto or Osaka :)

We’re going to a very fancy bamboo shoot restaurant for a ¥15,000-each kaiseki lunch on Monday the 29th, if anyone wants to join us ; )

Hi all, here is a possible plan:
When: Saturday 4/27, 11:45
Where: E-san (http://www.esan.jp/), a Thai restaurant in Kyoto on Imadegawa just west of Karasuma (right by the Imadegawa subway station). It has a nice small buffet plus a large menu, and if people are still hungry there's one of the Papa Jon's cheesecake places in the neighborhood too, among others.
The above chosen more or less at random (and to leave Monday open for DoctorFedora to enjoy bamboo shoots; I don't think I'm ready for it but maybe someday!). So if anyone wants to say "Let's meet at XX time at YY place instead," that would be great too. Otherwise, maybe comment by about the end of Thursday and I'll try calling for a reservation on Friday (if not available, we can just go and see what happens).
Only two more days until GW :)

Hi everyone, i know i’m late to the party, but i’m going to be in Osaka for a few days(arriving may 2 and leaving may 5) without any plans. It’s the end of our vacation in Japan, but my partner is flying back to the U.S. a few days earlier than I am. Ah! I don’t know why I missed the earlier posts (Saturday was kind of a no-go for me anyway, but).
This weekend might actually be doable, maybe? We don’t really have plans yet, if you happen to be amenable to visiting Kyoto or if we can find an excuse to make our way down to Osaka.
