Hello!
Am totally up for this, there hasn't been a meetup in Berlin for ages.
It should take around 45 mins from Tegel Airport to Potsdamer Platz by public transport, or about an hour from Schönefeld. Don't know about taxis. So you'd be there by 7pm easy. 8 or so could be a good time to meet?
There's a fair few restaurants nearby, nice bars would be a bit further afield.
I would suggest Lindenbräu in the Sony Center, German beer and extremely German food!
Let's see who else signs up

Hey runincircles, many thanks for suggesting a venue that is within walking distance of where I am staying. You rock! I hope you can still make it. From Bklyn, please know that I hope to come back for a future visit so perhaps we can meet up in the future when there is no school holiday.

Hi, annoyingly I won't be able to make it tonight after all, I just got a job in with a tight deadline that I can't turn down. Total shame not to be meeting yous, hope you have a good evening!

Well, I have bright pink glasses and gray hair and will be there between 8:10 and 8:30 (sorry, I am running late) in hopes that k will join me.
