Great. If other Baltimore mefites are unfamiliar with Sweet 27, it's across the street from Parts and Labor restaurant and Single Carrot Theater and up the block from the Ottobar and Charmingtons and a few blocks down from the Baltimore Museum of Art.

There's free unlimited street parking on Howard Street and 2 or 3 hour street parking on 27th Street. I have caught a bus up Charles Street from Penn Station to 26th or 27th Street and walked west to Sweet 27 but I can't remember the route number.

Aw man, I would totally be there tonight if I hadn't just moved out of Baltimore. I didn't know Sweet 27 does tacos. Happy commiserating!

Faint of Butt, I will be sitting at the bar by 6 pm with a copy of the New Yorker. The cover is blue water with a dog in an innertube.

The rest of Baltimore must be out of town on vacation ;(

The duck tacos with mango relish are to die for.

I'm here. I'm at the end of the bar. I have a beard.

Thank you to Faint of Butt for joining me for tacos and keeping me out of the megathread for a couple of hours.

Ideas for future Baltimore IRL:

Tour, explore and picnic at Hampton Historic House https://www.nps.gov/hamp/index.htm which is free and kid friendly and weird. The rich owner family never threw anything away and NPS can show you the pet graveyard but no one has found the slave cemetery.

Light rail tour day with a $4 day pass, the start of the B&A Bike Trail, the best ice cream around, a river park with an old school model airplane flying field . . .
