Montreal meetup!

With everything going on, I'm in the mood for some community building. Are there enough Montreal mefites to make a meetup?
It looks like there's enough interest! We'll be meeting at Dieu du Ciel for a 5 a 7. Hope to see you there! I'll be wearing (Metafilter) Blue and will try to bring tent card for the table to help find people.
I'm up for it.

20th works for me. I vote for a pub/bar, though I can’t recommend any in particular.

I can't make July 20th evening--I could show up late afternoon but would have to run away to night shift by about 6:30.
Or is there enough enthusiasm to support a second meetup in August as well?

As Organizer I'll claim deciding and go with Dieu du Ciel as it appears to be closest to a metro ;) If anyone has strong opinions otherwise let me know!
I think there should be enough interest for an August meetup as well! (unless this goes terribly ...)

Small note -- there's a weirdness going on with the Dieu du Ciel address / the map (here on this IRL page) / a confusion with "Brouepub" and "Dieu du Ciel".
I live in the neighborhood, and I'm positive that Dieu du Ciel is on the northern side of Laurier, on the same side, and close by, the fire station.
For some reason, there's a "Brouepub" (which is the same bar?) located at the same 29 Laurier West address that shows up across the street (i.e., on the south side), and the IRL event shown on the map (here, on the page where we're discussing this) is also on the south side... but it's not. It's on the north side.
So... yeah. North side.
MeMail me if/when you're there. I'll come out and wave.

vert canard, we noticed that too. We were looking for Siboire which we were told was "next door" to Dieu du Ciel and saw on google maps that there was supposedly a "Brouepub" across the street. Dieu du Ciel is definitely on the north side. Siboire is actually kind of nice, and less crowded than Dieu du Ciel can be on a Friday night. I would definitely consider it as a backup. High ceilings, lots of glass and lots of wait staff.

Just chiming in to say that veggieboy was legitimately traumatized by our error. I was more like, "QUICK, RUN!"
