Trifle at Shakespeare in the Park

Sun July 15 at 6:00 PM, Volunteer Park lawn, SW of the conservatory
Water Tower, 1247 15th Ave E, Seattle, WA, USA (Map & Directions)
I'll bring trifle fixings -- that's cake, custard, fruit, whipped cream, liqueur -- to Volunteer Park before the free Merry Wives of Windsor performance. We can hang beforehand, stay for the play or not. RSVP helps me bring a reasonable amount of trifle. http://www.seattleshakespeare.org/woodeno/

Does it ever... except I'm riding STP and Helen's got my son :(.

If we're back from Portland... maybe.

Changed it to a Meetup instead of a Performance and made it earlier so we have time to talk. And eat.

I don't know if we'll come, but if we do we'll bring vegan versions of the cake, custard, and whip. I haven't been to a Seattle meetup yet, and I'd like to begin getting to know local Mefites!

This is basically everything good in the world. I am in for Shakespeare and dessert and company!

N.b., I bring all the trifle-components in separate containers so people can choose their own. But the traditional cake and custard are very, very full of eggs and cream.

There's a superb gluten-free bakery on 15th if a non-baker non-wheat person would like cake to put the fruit and cream on.

I'm moving in the Monday before, but if my stuff isn't arriving exactly on Sunday, I'll try to make it!

(It occurs to me -- I should know my delivery ETA sometime that week, so as to better plan Trifle volumes!)

I also have never attended a meetup and wanna meet Seattle Mefites...and uh eat delicious things! And Shakespeare in the park! I'm a gluten free person, so if I make it I'll bring GF cake :)

SO MANY BERRIES, people. Apparently all the farmers at the market had a sudden swell of ripeness this week - no surprise - and my sweetie got to the market nearish closing, and so many berries.

So I hope y'all are coming!

I will wear a 1950s red straw wide conical hat because it's easy to see across a crowd.

No worries corb! We're saving food for you :) look for the neon yellow and blue/green gingham blankets near the front, just to stage left of center.
