[POSTPONED] Meet up and dance party: Goth Night Gojira Edition

Hello Mefites! Have you been itching to dance the night away? the Middle East downstairs hosts a goth dance night every first Friday and I would be happy to have lords/ladies/gender-nonspecific-royalty of darkness join me on May 11th. Meetup beforehand at the bar upstairs. Link here with complete details.
The basics:
MEET UP:
--I'll be at the bar area off the side street entrance (not the Mass Ave restaurant!) at 8:30-10 pm for whoever wants to meet up
--You can meet up even if you don't want to join the dance party that starts afterward
--Use the entrance on the side street on the corner lot - NOT the restaurant entrance on Mass Ave
DANCE PARTY:
--No need to have ever been to a goth night before, newcomers welcome! The only requirement is payment at the door, and minimum all black attire.
--I have been a few times before and found it really enjoyable. It's a chill, respectful, fun crowd and the vibe is generally inclusive. The music is mostly industrial dance. If you are nervous if it's your scene or not, I'd say just come!
--doors for the dance party open at 10
--prepaid entry is $10 online, entry at the door is $13
--a minimum of all black attire is enforced
--Themed costumes are encouraged, goth-related attire always welcome, and this month's theme is "Gojira" (think anime, Death Note, Hello Kitty, etc.)
OTHER:
--I don't drink a lot; I plan to have my night center more around the meetup and dancing than drinking. Of course it's a public event, so I can't guarantee that all crowd members will do the same, but my aim is to have this be an inclusive night for anyone, no alcoholic drinks required.
--The party goes until 2 am, I personally will probably dip out before that, around midnight... but who knows!

This sounds like fun. I won't be around. But someone please sneak a cigarette in the restroom for me. (or don't; have fun in any case!)

My +1 will be returning back after a weeklong international work trip and arriving at the airport around 8pm that night. Totally interested in this sort of thing but the timing is icky.

not to worry enfa and not_on_display, goth night at the Middle East is a regular occurrence and I'm sure I could be cajoled into hosting another one of these :)
