It isn't a very big place. If you post here what you're wearing, someone will keep an eye out for you. (I'd pick something odd to wear but I'm not sure yet if I can go.)

Oh also, when there's only one metafilter team it's usually (?) the Crimson Ramblers (?) so you could ask after that name at tables of people. If asking unknown tables is a tolerable idea, which I sympathize if it isn't.

Go into the bathroom, turn out the lights, and whisper mathowie's name into the mirror three times. Four, to be safe. It will all be revealed.
But I'll wear a red shirt with eyeballs on it just in case.

Looks like I can come, so there are three or four of us probably? If Ellemeno can come? That's a perfect team size for vanity's sake: small enough that it's no shame to lose, big enough that we have a chance of winning.
