Hey! So, this is a little late, possibly too late, but Metroid Baby and I will be in Durham next week, and we'd love to meet some of you!
We're available the 21st and the 22nd. Early times, say around 5 are best for us, so we can get back for our kid's bedtime, but if later times are the only option at least one of us may be able to make it!
We're open to venue suggestions. Southwest Durham is easiest for us to get to, but we're open to whatever you guys like!
Edit, 12/19: Sounds like we're mostly OK with City Beverage at about 6:30 on 12/22 so far!
Edit, 12/20: OK, we're on for 6:30 at City Beverage on 12/22! We'll call and try to reserve a table for six or so! (Let me know if we need more.)

I am in town!!! I have work both those days and a 4 pm dr's appt on the 22nd. I could do something at 5ish on the 21st for sure though, and a little later on the 22nd. What is toddler-friendly and open on a Monday? Foster's? I have seen children at City Beverage. OK, I am not a good person to pick a venue.

Totally understandable that must of you are leaving or have plans, as it is the holitron seazoid (a meme that is apparently so dead I can no longer Google Image Search for it)! But we do like City Beverage, so we're down for that!

I'll be around, but I don't get off work in Raleigh until 6. Any chance you can push it a bit later so I can head over straight from work and still have a chance to say Hi?

Hey, certainly – I think we could make 6-6:30 work! Depending on the babysitting situation, we might have to leave at 7:30, but that still seems like plenty of time to meet you guys. Does 6 at City Beverage on the 22nd sound OK?

Aw man, I'm just seeing this and trying to talk myself into thinking it would be okay, but the reality is we're leaving early the next morning and I have a million things to do in the next 48 hours. Next time!

So, City Beverage only takes reservations for parties of eight or more, but they said that it should be no problem to get a table for six or so.
