Joe's crappy broken speaker has sent us in search of a possible new Geeks Who Drink trivia venue. This week we're giving The Pub in Ball Square a shot. NOTE: trivia starts at 8:30pm!
Alas, I will be out of town for business on Wednesday. :(

I live less than 10 minutes walking from The Pub and can loan out two guest parking passes in my neighborhood - you'd have to park down near me, but you wouldn't have to worry about a meter or Somerville's ever-watchful parking enforcement. Let me know if you need a spot and we can work something out.

Somerville enforces parking meters only from 8AM-8PM... although Somerville's ever-watchful parking enforcement may still be watching, cuz they're freaky like that.

We are at The Pub and have claimed two tables right at the entrance. The good news is that the speakers definitely work, the bad news is that it's blaring San Bernardino at us.

We took first and second place and therefore have $50 in gift certificates, so we'll be going back at some point. Also folks were generally pleased with the bar, I think.

I liked it! It was bright, spacious, and not too loud. We'll have to see how much it fills up when the students nearby aren't busy studying for finals, though.
