This is a monthly screening/exhibition inspired by the Meet The Lady tumblr blog (a former MetaFilter Project and FPP). The show consists of film/TV clips, live performances, and ribald entertainments presented variety-show style, hosted by yours truly. This month we're paying tribute to the irrepressible dancer/actress/Lynchian Ann Miller (1924 - 2004) .
The usual suspects will be presenting clips from Miller's colorful oevre and performing selections from her juicy 1972 memoir, "Miller's High Life." We may or may not attempt to conjure her with a Ouija board (it's what she would have wanted -- it's how she found her second husband).
92YTribeca is walking distance from the A,C,E,1,N,Q,R, and W trains. There's a cafe attached to the screening room that sells food, beer, and wine which you can bring into the screening room. Let's hang out!
