Sat June 27 at 3:00 PM, Roll Play Café
10 Edward Street, Toronto, ON M5G 1C9, Canada (Map & Directions)
It's been a while since we've gotten together to play some games, so let's meet up!
How does Saturday June 27th from 2 pm 3 pm onward at the Roll Play Caf work for everyone? I'm suggesting this time and location since weekends seem mostly likely to work for people, and the Roll Play seems to have been good to us in the past, but other suggestions for time and location are also welcome; we'll go with whatever the consensus settles on.

I need to be up bright and early the next day, but given how gosh-darned clever and attractive you all were at the last meetup I'd be remiss if I didn't make an effort to attend this one.

Uh... would anyone like to offer opinions on how bad the drive in is going to be for me? I suddenly had a sinking realization it might be even worse than usual. TIA.

My personal hunch is that it won't be great for either of us. The dyke march shuts the roads down at noon, and it's shutting down Church & Hayden (which is up near Bloor, quite a few blocks north) fully. The march starts up there at 2, comes down Yonge (which is the street Roll Play is on), but turns east at Carlton/College, which is about 2 major blocks north of RP.

Parking will be harder than driving.

So... is this going to be too stressful for me to navigate with a car? Because you're saying words about streets and I don't even know what you're talking about except it sounds bad.

My vote is eh? Plan for an extra 20 minutes or so, the route goes near but not past our area. Should be fine.

Hey y'all, I really want to go but the weather is pretty crappy & my phone navigation is telling me the drive in is significantly longer than usual with a bunch of slowdowns on the way. I'm just not up for all that today =/ Thanks for the parking spot offer, mandolin! Have fun & I'm sorry to miss this.

That was a lot of fun. Thanks to kHz for putting it together. The light servings of Geek Out/Cranium/Balderdash made the perfect appetizer to my epic Firefly game tomorrow.

Thanks for coming out, I hope y'all had fun, and no worries to those who couldn't make it (though you were certainly missed) as there'll no doubt be more in the future! These are so much fun, I'll probably call another one towards the end of August :)
