Austin, let's meet up!

7020 Easy Wind Drive, Austin, TX, USA (Map & Directions)
April was a little crazy but I'm ready to see Austin's smiling faces in May sometime. Either a weekday evening or a weekend afternoon. Location is ideally downtown-ish or a little north and we'll be looking to replace the lamented Dog & Duck as a watering hole/munching spot. ETA: Black Star Co-op on Sunday, May 17, at 2 PM.
Sunday afternoons have been traditional (May 17 or 31?) but we can always do something different. I enjoyed drinking at the Driskill but am not married to that as a location. Thoughts?
I liked that meetup we had at Black Star.

The Black Star is really great. Plus there is parking, which is not so much my experience with downtown.
May is also going to be a little mad for me, but I'll be in town until May 27.

Yeah, Saturday or Sunday afternoon, location agnostic. I was working well into the Cold Chef meet up -- weeknights are always bad for me.

Saturday or Sunday works best for me - I wasn't able to hang out long enough last time on a weeknight. I'll keep an eye on this and update my status when a date gets set.

I too can tout Sunday as a win. I am always up for the drive up the I35. Gets me outta my headspace and I get to see your lovely faces.

I like this plan. I may wind up leaving a smidge early for another meetup, but I should be around from 2-3 at least.

Hey, Austin, we're under a flash flood warning (not watch, either) this morning so please be safe and only come out if you have a safe way to the meetup. Turn around, don't drown! And as much as I want to see the smiling faces of our San Antonio contingent, you guys especially be safe because it's a wet drive to Austin today.

I've been watching the Doppler... looks like there is another mass of moisture moving from west to east... powered by high pressure just a few hours out from the last wave that raked us. I'll play it by eye in the sky and play it safe.
