Anyone up for an evening meetup on Friday, 27 February?
My boyfriend and I are visiting Melbourne and would very much enjoy meeting up, if anyone is free. We only have the 27th available, unfortunately, and probably wouldn't be available before 7 (unless we met in Bridge Road in Richmond). Is anyone free then, and if so, any suggestions for places to meet?
We're staying in Richmond, and fluent in tram and train, so we can get around easily. No particular cuisine preferences, but haven't had Lebanese (or similar) yet, which I know I'd like.

I'm kicking about in Clifton Hill that night, so while I might not stay till the wee hours a Richmond meetup would certainly be on my list. I'd welcome Lebanese.

Most of the good Lebanese is in Brunswick, it looks like, except for the high-priced swanky stuff which I assume is not high on anyone's list. Bayte looks good though, and is in Collingwood - not too far from either Richmond or Clifton Hill. I'm not an expert at Lebanese cuisine though (apart from kebabs), so if anyone has direct recommendations I'd go with those.

We may turn up - no guarantees, but Bayte is easy walking distance for us (just over 2 km sayeth Google).

I feel bad, particularly having suggested Bayte, but not sure I will make it. The black dog is not being kind to me this week and I'm not sure I'll have the spoons on Friday. Will let you know if I can.
