Year-end meetup

The holidays are upon us, and I'm not going to be able to organize a final gaming meetup, because my weekends are pretty much booked until the end of the year. (If someone else wants to organize one, please feel free, though! I'll pick it up again next year.) But a bunch of random weeknights are free... anyone feel like drinks and/or dinner, on December 8, 9 or 10, maybe?
Confirmed for Dec 8 at RFD in Chinatown.
I'd love to finally attend a Meetup. I vote for dinner on Monday, 12/8!

I thiiiiiink I could do after 9pm drinks on the 10th (will just be getting off a plane) or whenever Dec 22/23.

I vote for early, though I could do the 22nd but not after. I would love to be able to finally come to a DC meetup. I live in Baltimore so it's a bit of a schlep, but I think I could make this one.

I could do any of these I think, although the 22nd would be my top choice even though I would be sad if C'est la D.C. couldn't make it.

The top choices are the 8th and the 22nd, and I'm going to tip the balance to the 8th, because the 22nd is my least preferred date.
Where should we go? I was thinking some place like RFD or The Hamilton, since the food and drinks are fine and they've got the space to manage larger groups pretty easily, but I would happily take suggestions.

RFD sounds good to me; near all the Metro lines + lots of food options + full bar (at least I assume there's a full bar?) seems like a good combination, and Hamilton's a little pricey. I'm trying to think if there's even anything cheaper in that area that still has a full bar but nothing's occurring to me.

Sorry, troika, but I think we're possibly looking at kind of a big group for Wonderland. RFD sounds like the best option, so I'll make it official when I'm at a computer.

Just wanted to come in and say I'm really excited about this and looking forward to seeing everyone! I'm also working from home tomorrow (lying around in my jammies checking email and playing backgammon) so I am not planning to hold back in any way this evening. Yay!

YAY YAY YAY! This makes my afternoon!
I've realized that I'm basically thinking of this as like the Metafilter equivalent of an office holiday party but in a really really good way (also I like office holiday parties as long as everyone is drinking and not just me).
