The candy corn is in the supermarket, the pumpkin spice is back in the coffee shops, and the buses are clogged with students, so that must mean it's fall. Enjoy a pumpkin beer (or not) while you plumb the depths of your knowledge on DQ shake flavors, pop music, and occasionally sports this Wednesday at 7:30 at Geeks Who Drink trivia at Joe Sent Me, Cambridge.

Wednesday is my mother's birthday, but I don't know what, if anything, the family is planning to do to celebrate. We might put it off until the weekend, but we probably won't, so I'll mark myself down as an extremely tentative "maybe."

I just found out I have to be at work at 6 am tomorrow to babysit a crane. I'll be at trivia, but I'll probably be even less helpful than usual.
