Happy hour at The Mix followed by dinner at Orange Door

Meetup in Tacoma! We'll start with happy hour and free pool at The Mix from 4pm to 7pm and then decamp to Orange Door for dinner starting at around 7:30pm. Come to either or both.
The Mix has great happy hour prices -- e.g., $3.50 for microbrews -- and free pool on Tuesdays. I'll show up early and grab a table for us.
(Note: The Mix is a hetero-friendly gay bar that explicitly "welcomes individuals from all communities and walks of life." I haven't had any problems there as a hetero cisgender woman so please don't hesitate to come even if you're not their usual target demographic.)
If you plan to attend the dinner portion, please comment letting me know that you're staying for dinner too (so I can reserve a big enough table).

I would prefer to eat a cuisine that is uncommon in the culinary wasteland of bumfuck rural Central Virginia, so my vote is for either Orange Door or India Mahal.

I'm about 80% sure I'll be there, but I'm driving up from Olympia, and don't get off work until 5, so this will to some extent depend on how godawful the traffic is around JBLM. Hope to see you!

This is a perfect location for me (I am currently living literally a few blocks away) but my plans are always a bit insecure these days thanks to a 14-week-old. But I'm gonna try to at least drop by or maybe come out for dinner. Make sure to post that decision when it's made!

Well, drat -- looks like I'll need to cover for an ill co-worker at a work thing that'll likely stretch into this evening. Sorry not to make it! (Maybe we can do another Tacoma meet-up sometime?)
