Hey guys, I'm in Rome most of June for a project. Anyone there for a meetup?
Currently suggested Exit Bar and Gallery, Trastevere, Sat 14th, at 7:30 pm.
Hey super! Sometime middle June is best for me, the first week is probably to get oriented and get an overview. But I'm there 2nd to 25th so anything goes really. I'm staying close to the University Botanical Gardens if I read the map correctly.

I and Lil' Peanut could be in as well, though at 1.5 years old, she is precociously into the terrible twos stage at times :P

I'm just going to invent a date and we see if that works for everyone... what about Thursday 12th or Friday 13th, sometime late afternoon / early evening, could that work for anyone interested?

That's fine by me as self-employed/retired, but folks having to respect working hours might prefer Friday 13 (unless of course they're superstitious). Saturday night in Rome you tend to run into binge drinkers, knockout players, that sort of stuff, which sort of limits the areas and the hours.

Dritto what aqsakal said - i am pretty flexible overall. When I head into the center for an evening, I'm usually in Trastevere at about 6pm when hubby has to head in for his shift.

I'm staying in Trastevere so a place here would be great. Would Saturday the 14th work for everyone, or Fri 20 / Sat 21? We could of course also do this weekend if it's not too short notice...?

Okay! I'm also super easy, so let's just set a date/time/place and change it if it doesn't work. I'm simply setting it to next Saturday, the 14th, and suggesting Exit Bar in Via Della Scala 27A, because I'm here right now and they have nice draft beers and internet and it's in my street and my feet hurts from walking around recording fountains all day, so laziness prevails. If we meet here around 7 or 8 next Sat it's not going to be a problem getting a table.

Hey guys, we had a great chat and dinner, too bad it didn't work out for everyone, and hope you are feeling better romakimmy! yeah, i'm presenting my work on Tuesday here at Circolo, it's in Trastevere, not far from the Exit bar. If you guys wanna come by thats great, it will be a very informal affair and we'll hang around on the roof terrace chatting afterwards! Here's some info and details.
