ICE SKATING!
Chinook book has 2 for one deals at the Lloyd Center.
Upside: ice skating. Downside: Lloyd Center.

I've never ice skated, so I'm unsure if this would be fun for me. I'll think about it. But I wanted to drop a link to this video, if anyone's looking for some skating in Portland today!

I was well into my 30's when I tried ice skating for the first time ever. I was surprised at how easy it was to get the basic hang of it, and I managed to completely avoid falling down. My feeling is, if you can roller skate, you can learn to ice skate no problem.

And yeah, I think roller skating and ice skating are basically the same skill.

Depending on which weekend day in March (unfortunately I may be busy for two weekends, the 8th/9th, and definitely the 15th too but I think I'm free the 16th) I'd like to attend! Hopefully I still know how to ice skate. Haven't done it in ages, now.

Well then, according to this schedule that leaves next Saturday the 29th 11:30am-10pm, or Sunday the 30th 11:30am-6pm; or a weekday evening 7:30-9:30. After that we're into April, which looks like it has roughly the same schedule.
