Meetup by Fiat: Lower East Side

Proposed meetup did not appear to happen on Tuesday and it's not looking likely for today (Wednesday) so I hereby declare it for Thursday.
I'm setting this for Clandestino, since it seems like folks in the other thread were interested in having it there. If you wanna change it, post in the thread and I can update.
Looks like Clandestino doesn't serve food, does anyone have a recommendation on munchies nearby? (I mean, it's Chinatown, so, there's bound to be something nearby, just curious if there's something special I should be on the lookout for)

oh yeah!, I might get an arepa beforehand on Delancey and Clinton or so, if you're interested. Or name a cuisine you like and I'll suggest some places; I know tons of restaurants since I work down there.

The cafe is called El Aripo and it's at 172 Clinton Street (pretty far east). It's adorable and tiny and not table service but not terribly quick either. Maybe meet for dinner at 6:15, for oh yeah! and anyone else who is interested?

That looks like an amazing place for dinner. I'm not sure I can make 6:15. Although, if I don't get stuck at work, then I should be close enough for it not to matter. That's the big IF.

Google maps tells me to take the M train from 23rd St to Essex St to get to El Aripo (on Delancey though, not Clinton). I leave work at 6-ish, so, 6:30 seems achievable.
