Eideteker is blowing into town from The Big City. He'll be here from Wednesday, August 28 through Monday, September 2. Anybody for meeting up on one of those days?
Venue ideas gratefully accepted, especially if it's someplace where we can actually hear one another.
I have never attended one of these. I am going to try to make it!
I think, depending on the weather and the timing, El Rayo Taqueria could work?

Oh, man! I'd love to, as it would be my first IRL MeFi thing, but that's the start of classes for me. I am not above stopping by without promises, though. Novare Res would be an excellent place, unreasonable.

I'm busy Sunday the 1st, available other days. El Rayo and Novare Res are both good if the weather is nice. El Rayo is noisy inside. Yay! Eideteker & MeFites!

We are obviously MeFites. But you can always ask around for "Friends of Mathowie."

But when I asked that for my first meet-up, theora55 pointed out that you can kinda... just tell. I was skeptical, but it turned out to be true: I walked in, looked around, and spotted the table of MeFites right away somehow. For one thing, we'll be the table making eye contact with everyone who walks in just in case you turn out to be looking for us.
