Wed June 26 at 6:00 PM, La Paloma Sabanera Coffee House
405 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT, USA (Map & Directions)
Hartford's Living Room, the La Paloma Sabanera coffee house, is shutting its doors at the end of this month, and its owner, Virginia, is moving on to other, better things. We (i.e., people who have run and participated in events at La Paloma Sabanera over the years) are marking this occasion with a bit of sadness but also with a big party on Wednesday, June 26, from 6pm to 11:30.
Please join us for an evening of storytelling, music, film, improv, radio, and celebration.

Event participants include:
Colonel Albert Pope and The Hartford Hot Several, a pop-up punk brass, percussion, and found instrument band playing all most some of your old favorites
Syllable Series, a curated reading series showcasing the writings of local authors, poets, playwrights, and other literary sorts
String Theorie, an award-winning instrumental world fusion band
Rabbit Ears Media, a film and video producer and curator of Kino Kafe, a film series at La Paloma
The Ear Cave, a stripped-down listening session curated by a rotating cast of local radio and media producers
Other People's Stories, a live storytelling event of people telling the stories that other people have told them.
Sea Tea Improv, Connecticut's award-winning improv company
The musical stylings of Ben Klein, Experimental Tubist

I'll update with more participants as they confirm.
