Scav 2014?

The University of Chicago's annual scavenger hunt - alternately known as Scav - is an exciting festival of high-weirdness. I really enjoyed this year's incarnation, and would like to field a MeFi team for next year's if that's feasible. EDIT: I probably can't do this anymore since it's the same time as Eurovision. Alas!
Scav 2013 just ended and it was a blast! I want to do it again next year, but I'd like to do so as an independent since I have no formal ties to UChicago. Given that this isn't an event one can start a team for on impulse, I'd like to gauge the interest of local MeFites, which is also why I'm posting this a full year in advance.

If you're not familiar with Scav, here's the list from this year: (it's labeled 2014 because all the "13"s were omitted as part of an item)

This event requires:

- basically committing from Wednesday evening to Sunday (plus cleanup)
- renting a place to use as a workspace
- a substantial coffers to use for the purchase of construction parts and so forth (paint, glue, tape, paper)

This also doesn't need to be just a MeFi gathering - I'd love to have a large independent team compete in Scav. I think that would be a good thing.

simply reading that list is exhausting for me...

One of the most remarkable things about Scav is how many items that appear impossible upon reading the list get done by the teams, and how many teams get most of the list done. The winning team from this year got over 4000 points - probably over 90% of the list.

Well of course this list is daunting - it's not the DeVry* scavenger hunt!

I'd be entirely game, but don't know that I could commit to the full time frame.
