Thursday-evening after-work food/drinks/games meetup in Jersey City at Barcade. (Walking distance to PATH, Grove Street station.)
Played all the games and eaten all the jerky at the Brooklyn Barcade? Then come check out the Jersey City location (which even features food) and have a drink or a few after work.
There are happy hour specials until 8PM, kitchen is open 'till 10. There's also a food special if anyone wants to get there early, it ends at 6.
Posted more than a week ahead of time so those unused to venturing this way can get their travel visas, vaccinations, etc. in order.

I'm going to be a maybe up until the last hour for this one - I've got a dentist appointment that afternoon, so, most likely I'll want to go right home afterwards, but, I would hate to miss a meetup in my very own city after going to umpteen NYC/Brooklyn/Queens meetups.

All I know re: parking is what Yelp says, which is that there is street parking. I don't drive so I don't pay attention to that stuff, but maybe someone else could be of more assistance.

There are parking meters along Christopher Columbus Drive, the street parallel to Newark Ave, when my parents have met me for dinner in the Grove Street area I don't think we've had much trouble finding a spot there on a weekend.
