My wife and I are coming back to Albuquerque, with baby light thief in tow. We're arriving on March 30 and leaving on April 7, and our plans are open. UPDATE: date, time and location set!
We had fun meeting a few of y'all last time, and we're looking forward to meeting folks again!
Me too! I would love to meet up. Where are you stayiing? Our last meet-up was at the Anodyne downtown. It's mellow on the weekend up until around 8 or so.

I'm new in town, so I'd love to meet y'all. My schedule is open, but I'll either have to rely on public transportation or bring my guy along (is it okay to bring my guy along? He's a native and knows the town pretty well, but he's not a mefite).

We come in on Friday, and with this being baby light thief's first airplane trip, I'll say March 30th is out for me. Saturday the 31st or Friday, April 6th work for me.
patheral, I've taken my non-MeFite wife to a few meet-ups, and I've been to a meetup where a MeFite brought two of his non-member friends. The only thing to warn your guy is that he'll be asked why he isn't a member, and at the end of the evening, asked if he will now join, and if so, what his handle might be.

I can do the 6th. Y'all will have to tell me where, exactly, Anodyne is though (new here, remember?) if that's where we're meeting. My guy is a shy geek-type person and not much for the bar scene. I'm guessing it's a bar...

The Anodyne is right downtown at 409 Central. It's kind of a hipster bar/pool-hall thing, pretty laid-back with plenty of places to retreat to if the bar gets too busy.

Also: is Anodyne a suitable place to bring an infant (7 months old)? If it's OK, it'll be me, my wife and our son, and probably my wife's parents. If not, it'll only be me and my wife.
How big is it? Should we plan on meeting somewhere specifically in there? I am planning on wearing my bright orange Robespierre, Robespierre, Robespierre shirt. That, or my sky thief shirt, or Now Panic and Freak Out.

You can bring kids, there's ample seating with some cool pop art decorated booths. Should we meet around 7? Before it gets too busy? There's a full bar.

They don't have food at the bar, but they do provide menus for places that'll deliver to the Anodyne. I'd be glad to order out if you're up for it.

Hey, um, how are we going to recognize each other? Is it a big place? And where is the entrance? (I guess it's a little late to be asking these questions.)

I'll be wearing a pink peasant blouse type shirt and jeans I have glasses. I dunno what my guy is wearing (he's at work right now) but he's got long-ish hair he wears back in a ponytail and glasses.

I'm a tall guy with fluffy hair and glasses, and I'll be wearing my bright orange Robiespierre x 3 shirt and cargo shorts. I'll arrive with my wife, our son, and my wife's parents. When I travel, I bring a posse.
