There are indeed a few Mefies around, regretfully I am out of the area until Sunday, I could do a Sunday evening. I thought that place was called the Woolwich Arms not the Arrow, did it change?

Exciting!!!

Hi njk - yep, they changed ownership. I liked the old name better; the new food and drink menu is pretty good, though - good local beer & wine selection.

Should we try for Sunday the 29th in the evening?

I lubs me the Wooly, although I can't say I've ever been inside, other than the corridor between the patio and the washroom.

Okay, after much consideration I have no idea what I'll be wearing, but I'll be carrying a big black novel, be standing/sitting with orange-toqued njk, and probably make a little sign for our table that says "MEFI!!!"

Awesome time. Thanks to everyone who made the journey to the Arrow (I still find it odd to call it that) today. I had a fantastic, albeit short, time. I wish I could have stayed and chatted longer. To those on the opposite of the table, to whom I didnt get much chance to talk to, I am sorry. Thanks Acer_saccharum for organizing this event and I am totally down for any future Guelph/Kitchener/Fergus :) event in the future.

It was fantastic to meet you all, I am so glad everyone made it out; super interesting and fun group! In the next few weeks we can call a February meet-up (maybe the 26th?). njk - your mission is to get K signed up and make him invite us over.
