FREE Musical Improv Performance

Sat December 17 at 8:30 PM, Magnet Studio Theater (30th & 8th)
259 W 30th St, New York, NY, USA (Map & Directions)
"Do you know how to improvise a musical?" "No, but if you hum a few bars..."

We're going to make up some showtunes, on the spot, just for you!
Ten weeks ago, a crack improv unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit (okay, so we were each singing in the shower). These individuals promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the New York underground improv scene. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as mercenary improvisers. If you have a showtune or a number from a musical that has yet to be written stuck in your head... if no one else can help... and if you can find the studio theater (it's on the second floor. No, not at *that* 259, the one next to it)... maybe you can watch... The Musical Improv Level 1 Graduation Show.

Please join us for this FREE show that is FREE. We'll be taking your suggestions and spinning them in to musical theater gold. Afterwards, we'll meet at Mustang Sally's on 7th Ave. for drinks and revelry. Mention that you're with the Magnet for a 10% theater discount!

This sounds awesome. I wish I could be there. At some point I expect someone to say "Gee, this is a swell barn, let's put the show on here!"

Break a leg.
