I'm taking part in a free improv show. Guaranteed laughs, or your money back (less processing and handling, and a small restocking fee).
My Improv class is staging a free graduation show. The show is Saturday, October 15th at 6:00 p.m., in the Magnet Theater studio space on the 2nd floor of 259 W. 30th St. (at 30th and 8th Ave). Admission is
free.
It's early enough that it shouldn't interfere with your
real plans for that evening. Thanks, Irene! Afterwards, we'll be heading to Mustang Sally's on 7th Ave. for drinks. I
believe it's 10% off if you say you're with the Magnet Theater. And after that, we'll probably head back to the Magnet for some more improv, including the
Mixer, where
you will have the chance to jump up on stage and look stupid for a few minutes if you want (and cheap beer says you're more likely to want to). Don't worry, no one will judge you. Strangers might talk to you, though! *gasp*
Come out, be social, have a great time. I can personally guarantee everyone who attends will get a hug if they come up to me after the show. And everybody needs one of those, right?
If you're not at either meetup, I'll have no choice but to assume you hate me. =(
