ALA in New Orleans

Mefibrarians: I cannot possibly be the only one of you going to ALA in New Orleans. Who wants drinks?
I'll be there between Friday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 27, staying at one of the convention hotels. Despite growing up in nearby Baton Rouge I am not terrifically familiar with the area, so perhaps a local could pinpoint an ideal bar and we could arrange shenanigans?

Non-librarians also welcome. Of course.

i'm up for anything except on the 25th. I'm a local but I'm not too familiar with downtown bars. We could try Pravda or Mollys, both of which are in the french quarter.

I could do it if it was on Saturday (25 June) evening. Other than that, I am pretty booked.

Heh. Scratch that, Saturday looks booked, too. Maybe another year.

If any MeFites want to hang out at ALA, I am the local contact for a HackLibSchool meetup. Private message me and I'll send you the invite.
