Join Bunny and Coco Ultramod of the pop punk band The Ultramods (AKA Max "Bunny" Sparber, Astro Zombie on MetaFilter and arts columnist for MinnPost, and Coco Mault, writer for City Pages' Dressing Room blog) as they read selections from their nonficiton ebook, "Bunny and Coco Get Smashed."
The book is a selection of their humorous and fascinating investigations into the history and culture of alcohol and the mixed drink, drawn from six years of writing and two magazines cofounded by Bunny and Coco, Daily Lush and The Bottle Gang.
Also reading will be Susan Marks, author of "In the Mood for Munsingwear: Minnesota's Claim to Underwear Fame," as well as a history of Betty Crocker, and Bottle Gang cofounder and longtime music journalist Steve McPherson.
