Looking to meet locals in London

Good evening Londoners (or those who have moved to London): I've recently moved to London and I'm looking for people to meet in the Islington/Hackney/Dalston area. I don't know a soul! I love socialising/eating out so I'd love to visit a few restaurants in Islington or Hackney with drinks before, and then a meal after. I've been recommended Vins so if anyone fancies it let me know and I'd love to meet. I also love museums and walks too.

Alas, I’m training it to Liverpool that evening, but I do have some other options - we’re kicking off Ultimate Frisbee in Hyde Park on Monday nights again (fun, chilled out, very unserious) and my pal is organizing random walks into the countryside on the Easter and early May bank holiday weekends, if any of those things appeal. I live in south London so am not exactly the local contact you're looking for, but I am keen on eating, drinking, walking and museums. And thanks to the Overground, I can get to Vins pretty easily.

I'd in theory be keen, but I'll be travelling at the time. I hope it goes well though! I work reasonably close to those areas so am a semi-local person :) I like food and museums!

I'm not in London right now and when I'm going to be back is a bit up in the air, but I'm in principle up for this or later events. I live in Walthamstow.

I'm afraid I won't be able to make this one after all. But I am keen to join a meetup. I really enjoyed the last one I attended, at the Wild Cards brewery in Walthamstow.
