Hot fun in the Melbourne time

It's been a long time, Melbourne! I'm keen to get outside and enjoy the (long-awaited) summer. What do you say to a beer? Wed 9 Feb, starting 6 or 7, Riverland.
In case you haven't been to Riverland before, it's just down the stairs between the river and Federation Square.
Sounds great to me & magically, Wednesday the 9th is about the only weeknight I'd be able to make it.

*To be fair, I feel like a heel sitting on a tropical beach, idly staring out into the Gulf of Thailand as the waves lap against the shore, contemplating the relationship between one's latitude and the intersection of the sun and the yardarm....

I'm glad to hear there are so many people who can make it. As for how to find us, I'll have my phone on me so will be checking the thread (as I imagine a bunch of others will be too), or my phone number is posted in my account (under Occupation) so you can text me. Or, you can always go around the bar asking if anyone is "a friend of Matt's". I don't know of a favourite mefi table, though I usually sit outside when at riverland.
As russm says, friends, partners, lurkers and other hangers on are totally welcome, basically anyone you think would have a fun time meeting up with some random internet folks for a beer (or in my case, probably some cider or wine).
