What's everyone doing on Friday, March 17th? I've got it wide open if anyone else would like to try for another meetup.

I'm definitely in for anytime after 4pm, and I'm very curious about the Spice Welcome!
"Spice" is defined by angiep as the plural of "spouse".

Slightest of letdowns as I imagined some deeply secretive initiation rite but definitely not truly disappointed as it'll mean even more great people to meet!

I'm in, as well! Maybe the Bear and Kilt downtown? The closer we pursue a St Patrick's theme, though, the more raucous it'll probably be.

I love the Bear & Kilt. However, I definitely overlooked the St. Patrick's Day aspect of things. Pretty much any pub that day will be a tricky place to have any kind of conversation.
I'm sure we'll be able to find a non-rowdy venue to meet that day, but I'm also available Saturday night if anyone else would prefer.

Yeah, I hadn't thought about it being St. Patricks day either. I think I can make the 18th work; I'm also wondering if something like the board game cafe we used last time wouldn't work well on St. Patricks Day as well - it doesn't strike me that St Paddy revelers will be seized by a sudden need to play Love Letter.

I've been to Hexagon a few times - I like it a lot! It's got more space (and I think more games) than the place we were at last time, which might be nice.

No - we seem to want the cafe aspect more than anything. Maybe about the 5th or 6th time we do this, we'll play a game :)
