Pussyhat sewathon - 1/15 or 1/16

I will devote one day this weekend to sewing pussyhats and thought I'd see if anyone wanted to join! I don't know how to knit or crochet, but yarn-folk are definitely welcome.
I am partial to this pattern. This is an easy thing to sew and I have a successful track record in teaching harder projects to people who have never sewed before, so all interested parties are welcome.
I am planning on doing this at home (in the CD), where I have one sewing machine, one serger I am somewhat afraid of, and space to set up 2 more machines, plus counter space and tools for two or three people to cut fabric. However I also have two cats who would endlessly harass the allergic. Most of this is relatively portable if there is enough interest to warrant a bigger or cat-free space.
I'll take care of shipping the pussyhats to DC in a speedy manner.
