I'm in NYC until Saturday morning for RWC 2017, and should be free Thursday/Friday evening, the 5th/6th January. Anyone from the Internet want to meet up and hang out?
I suggest making any meetup a Politics-Free Zone for my own sanity, not that that's really possible...
I can do Thursday but not Friday. Where are you staying?

Bah, this trip is fast becoming super busy, would drinks around 9pm Thu (5th) work for people? I'm staying on the Upper East Side around 107th but happy to move around.
Was thinking generic bar, but I don't know the area well so open to suggestions, and I can easily head downtown as well.
