I've been unable to attend the last few meetups due to schedule conflicts, but I'll be in London on Thursday the 25th and want to eat some turkey (and maybe even pumpkin pie). There seem to be a number of restaurants that offer Thanksgiving menus, but I'm new to town so open to recommendations.

I would love to! I'm not sure of restaurants, because I'm a student & don't eat out much, but I'll have a look around.

Me and mine (one American and one quasi-American, both in want of a Thanksgiving meal and lovely company) would like to join!

Timeout has written up some suggestions.

Perhaps the Breakfast Club in Angel/Hoxton/Soho?

Ooh, that sounds nice, cool.

Shall we say Breakfast Club in Angel, then? We should probably book a table soon-ish.

Looks like the Angel and Soho branches have been booked up :(
We could make a booking for the Hoxton location, or maybe try Bodean's BBQ?

Oh, dear, I feel terrible doing this, but something has come up last minute and I won't be able to make it. I'm really sorry. :( Hopefully next year, and maybe some of us will have met at other London meetups by then!

Breakfast Club in Hoxton is now fully booked, too! I've called a few other places, none are doing Turkey Day festivities. Bodean's seems kind of...eh.

Maybe we should make this a Thanksgiving drinks night instead?

All Star Lanes, a classy American-style bowling alley on Brick Lane, will have a Thanksgiving menu on Thursday. Pumpkin Soup, turkey & etc, and pecan pie for desert. Also, WE COULD GO BOWLING AFTERWARDS!

I called and they have openings for a table of 6 after 8:30pm or before 6:30. Is 8:30 too late? Does this sound fun to anyone? Everywhere else seems to be a combination of booked, expensive and/or oppressively touristy.

Ms. Timshel and I will be there and would love to meet any and all of you! I requested a reservation for six people, just in case... I need to confirm numbers with the alley by 8:30pm tomorrow night.

That sounds brilliant - I will be there (and I'll update the post to a confirmed meetup). I won't be able to stay too late into the night, but I'll check how late my trains run.
